The Conservation Fund creates solutions that make environmental and economic sense by redefining conservation to demonstrate its essential role in future prosperity. Over the last decade, the Fund has worked together with local communities in the West to bring landowners, federal, state and private partners together to implement conservation easements on private working ranchlands, protecting more than 100,000 acres of sage grouse habitat. The Conservation Fund’s work helps ranchers sustain and enhance their operations while preventing loss and fragmentation of sage grouse habitat.
