Job Announcement | SGI Communications Coordinator

The Sage Grouse Initiative is looking for a contractor to help us share the story of voluntary conservation across the range!

Join SGI’s team to help us implement our Strategic Communications Plan. This position is open until December 30, 2015 and the contract is expected to be awarded by January 11, 2016. The full scope of work along with application instructions can be found here.

Specifically, the contractor will manage the SGI website, social media, and SGI e-news, and will assist with a variety of other communications needs. Contractor will work closely with the interdisciplinary team of staff members and partners that comprise the SGI coordination team. The contractor’s main goal is to share the latest and most relevant information about sage grouse conservation efforts on working lands with consistent messages that resonate widely.

The Sage Grouse Initiative is a partnership-based, science-driven effort that uses voluntary incentives to proactively conserve America’s western rangelands, wildlife, and rural way of life. This initiative is part of Working Lands For Wildlife, which is led by USDA’s Natural Resources Conservation Service.
